 Manor Cottage is the old Harbour Master's home at the heart of St. Mawes, looking over the Quay and across the bay to Place Manor and Summer's Beach. It has been recently renovated to provide a comfortable and charming home close to the centre of village life. Accommodation is provided for four plus 2 occasional beds and a cot. The cottage is well equipped with modern appliances including microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer, LCD TV & DVD player. There is space to keep a small dinghy, windsurfer or other boating paraphernalia in the old Pilchard Yard behind the Cottage. At the front the patio is a lovely place to sit and watch the boats in the harbour, while the gate can keep younger children from straying. Location - The shops, post office, art galleries, pubs and restaurants are all within easy reach. It is simple to catch a ferry from the Quay to Falmouth, or across to St. Anthony's for magnificent walks to the Lighthouse, and the little coves and beaches.
- It is a short stroll up to St. Mawes Castle, past the famous Tresanton Hotel, and then along the coast path to St.Just.
- The Roseland Peninsula is well known as a most beautiful area for walking, and the waters surrounding it are a delight to explore by boat.
