 This property is located in the town of Stornoway and is a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal. Being centrally based it gives easy access to the locality and rural areas. - A few minutes walk from the property is a new leisure centre with gym and swimming facilities.
- Most recently an art centre has been built, which is a 20 minute walk from the property, and well worth a visit as there is a cinema and art exhibitions from local artists and other interesting information with regard to the Island culture.
- The Castle Grounds is an excellent place to enjoy walking and it comprises an 18 hole golf course. The Woodland Café, located on the grounds, is a welcome opportunity for a rest and to enjoy a snack. The town itself has excellent Bar and Restaurant facilities.
 - Rurally, an hour's drive along the west coast will open up the scenic view of the Atlantic Ocean and you will be able to visit the famous Callanish Stones, Doune at Carloway and the Black House at Arnol.
- Head South-West towards Uig which is approximately one hour's drive away from the town. Here you will discover the original? home of the Lewis Chess Men, explore the local history and visit the lovely Ardroil and Reef beaches.
