Stanley House, a 100 year old cottage, sits on the village green in the charming Peak District hamlet of Langsett. With stunning views across open countryside and the picturesque Langsett reservoir, it is ideal for ramblers, cyclists and horse riders. Langsett is an excellent base for touring the area; the tearooms of Holmfirth made famous by Last of the Summer Wine are close by, as is Chatsworth House, the world class Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Bakewell and York.
  • Langsett boasts a traditional country pub too, serving real ales and truly homemade food (they are only too happy to supply you with one of their famous meat and potato pies to cook for yourself in the cottage).
  • There is also a cafe, for breakfasts and limited groceries, an excellent farm shop is just over the hill and you are within easy reach of a number of market towns.
Features:
  • Stanley house is spacious, comfy and welcoming, with gardens to the front and rear with ample off road parking.

  • Living room has a three seater sofa, armchair, TV, DVD player and coal effect, gas powered pot-belly stove.
