 Set in the heart of the Garden of England, the cottage is located in the grounds of the owner's converted barn down a quiet country lane, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Whatever kind of holiday you're looking for, Standen Barn Cottage is at the centre of it all: - Sissinghurst Castle and gardens, Great Dixter, Bodium Castle and many more National Trust properties are all within a few miles drive.
- The long sandy beach at Camber and the traditional seaside town of Hastings are both only half an hour away.
- For the sights of London, the station at Staplehurst provides direct access to London, with a journey time of 1 hour.
- If you enjoy mooching around antique shops, the Cinque Port town of Rye, and the local villages of Tenterden and Cranbrook are just down the road.
- For a day-trip to France, the ferry port of Dover is a 1 hour drive away.
- Walkers willl enjoy the wealth of footpaths in the area.
