 Stancombe Lodge was formed from two centuries-old barns at Stancombe Manor close to the coast of South Devon, between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge. Converted in 2004, it has two bedrooms and has been fully refurbished to a very high standard. It is situated in 21 acres of outstanding natural beauty including cider orchards, woodland and carefully kept gardens. It is close to Frogmore, and conveniently located for both the coast and moors with the nearest beach 3 miles away at Torcross.
The cottage offers: 2 bedrooms - both ensuite (one is a double room with a kingsize bed, and one a twin room with the option of a third bed if required). Large fully-fitted kitchen including dishwasher and complete range of other equipment. Dining area. Lounge which includes a TV and DVD. Paved patio area to front with table and chairs. Ground-floor level throughout. Centrally heated and double-glazed. Washing machine and private outdoor drying area. The Lodge has many facilities to suit all ages which are shared with the other residents of Stancombe Manor. These include:
