Two Nights was just too short!
We wished we knew about this place a while back and then we would have stayed here throughout our holiday.
This was a perfect place that we would like to visit again in the near future. Our lives have been rejuvenated with the good and very nice atmosphere here.

Thank you very much for a delightful albeit brief stay.We were recommended the cottage by my sister and our expectations were exceeded. Not only a stunning location, the cottage, the cottage interior is designed beautifully with lots of attention to detail.
Sadly we were only here overnight on this occasion but hope to return for a longer trip next time.
We were here to to visit my cousin who runs the Junction Inn (about 1.5 miles away)Naturally we're slightly biased, but in all honesty their new home cooked menu was was delicious> Look out for the home cooked chips and with desserts the superb custard.
Thank you again and hope to see you again soon.

This was a great location for us to consider our relocation to Bradford. The cottage was so delightful – full of creative flair and warmth. The Views over the Thornton Valley fantastic – took a walk over the viaduct/good curry at the restaurant in the village too. We had friends and family to stay over the course of the week. L and C were very accommodating to our needs.
Come summer Bradford is looking like it will be our new Home!

Squirrel Hill Cottage is superb and done out to a very high standard - all credit to L, C and A  who couldn`t have been nicer or more helpful especially as we were snowed in for three days which was not part of our plan.
it offered us everything we needed and more and we would recommend it to anyone.
We hope to visit again sometime(perhaps we will make it in the summer)
Good luck to L, C and A for the future, we wish you every sucess.
Thanks for everything and an extra special thank-you from Jade who had the time of her life in all the snow.

We have enjoyed our short stay in your beautiful cottage; nicest we have come across! The location was ideal for visiting relatives in Bradford but also on the doorstep of some beautiful walking country.
Thank you for making us so welcome.

This is the perfect spot!
We were here for a music festival in Bradford and quickly fell in love with the cottageand the beautiful surrounding countryside.
We were booked to stay one week but quickly extended our stay to two so we could explore the area more thoroughly.
The cottage was perfect

Thanks so much, L and C for your hospitality and guidance with local travel. You have a beautiful place and we will be extending information about it to others in Canada. We enjoyed the bonfire and meeting some of your family around it. All the best as you construct the next two cottages.  I am sure the building will be transformed by the next time we make it back.

PS.
We forgot to mention the convenience of the great Farm Shop just up the lane. It was fantastic to taste local produce, meats and dairy. I wish we had a store like this in my neighbourhood!

Delightful break  cottage is terrific and to a very high standard. We will certainly recommend it. The location is very central for touring and great days out.

We had a wonderful little holiday at Squirrel Hill Cottage – this is the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in – everything has been thought of , from the flowers on the table to the cosy beds,
We’ve crammed as much into 3 days as it’s humanly possible – Hardcastle Craggs and Gibsons Mill, Bolton Abbey and the Worth Valley Railway, along with visiting friends and family.
This is Yorkshire Hospitality at its absolute best and we can`t wait to come back.
Just time for a quick play in the snow before we leave..... absolutely perfect!
Thank you L

  L and C,
Thank you so much for a lovely welcome. We were not sure about being away from home over Christmas, but family commitments meant we had to travel to Yorkshire at short notice. You were really accommodating with the dates so thank you for that.
But what made it for us was the attention to Christmas detail which really helped, from the trimmings, wine, crackers and choc’s all the way down to the snowman loo roll. Thank you so much.
We wished we could have stayed longer, but guaranteed, we will be back.
Happy 2010

thanks for arranging the snow over Christmas
