The Walch family is back again!
We have just has an amazing 3 day stay at The Court again. We have been incredibly lucky with the weather and experienced the most spectacular sunrises! Its an event worth getting up early for - our children have never experienced it before and were blown away!
Trips this time - Hardcastle Crag( always essential on a trip to Yorkshire- there's no where to compare)
- Bolton Abbey - the Strid was in full power - Ogden Water - well worth waiting to go at sunset - we just had to stand and stare!
The view down the valley is amazing- misty sunrises and the night time view of the city is something else! Anna(aged 7 ) was wowed - "Look!" she gasped, it's the city of lights!
What a brilliant name for Bradford.
We love the beautiful house, needless to say we have already booked our next visit and thank you L and C for making us feel so welcome - this is Yorkshire hospitality at its absolute best!

   Dear L and C
When we stayed at Squirrel Hill Cottage previously, we said it was the loveliest cottage we had ever stayed in and didn't think it could be improved on - but Squirrel Hill Court is Amazing!! All the attention to detail and the luxurious feel made us feel instantly at home. The Christmas Tree and all the decorations are fantastic. (thank you so much for that)We have to get home for panto in Birmingham
this afternoon, but Ben said he would rather stay here instead! We've had a great time visiting family and friends (everyone who has called in has been blown away with The Court and will certainly recommend it to anybody else visiting the area)
Thank you so much - we didn't want to leave and we will be back for a longer break in the next few weeks.

short. We all would like to thank you both very much for your care, help and

Decisions Decisions …. An end of season break in the Med’ or the Autumnal delights of  the UK?
We are so glad to have chosen the delightfully decorated and cosy Squirrel Hill Cottage – where everything exudes luxury , yet with a country air. We love Yorkshire and it hasn’t disappointed. We enjoyed a trip to the dales and Aysgarth Falls and a wonderful meal at the Angel at Hetton. Some shopping at the White Rose Centre, a visit to the National Film Museum and our first 3D film – The Lion King, on the greyer days.
Keelham Farm Shop is outstanding for local tasty and good value produceTomorrow we visit to Harwood house with friends. What a lovely relaxing time…..I even woke up to see three deer from my bedroom window on the first day. Hope to be back again!

Thank you very much for a delightful albeit brief stay.We were recommended the cottage by my sister and our expectations were exceeded. Not only a stunning location, the cottage, the cottage interior is designed beautifully with lots of attention to detail.
Sadly we were only here overnight on this occasion but hope to return for a longer trip next time.
We were here to to visit my cousin who runs the Junction Inn (about 1.5 miles away)Naturally we're slightly biased, but in all honesty their new home cooked menu was was delicious> Look out for the home cooked chips and with desserts the superb custard.
Thank you again and hope to see you again soon.

We had a wonderful little holiday at Squirrel Hill Cottage – this is the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in – everything has been thought of , from the flowers on the table to the cosy beds,
We’ve crammed as much into 3 days as it’s humanly possible – Hardcastle Craggs and Gibsons Mill, Bolton Abbey and the Worth Valley Railway, along with visiting friends and family.
This is Yorkshire Hospitality at its absolute best and we can`t wait to come back.
Just time for a quick play in the snow before we leave..... absolutely perfect!

   L and C,
Thank you so much for a lovely welcome. We were not sure about being away from home over Christmas, but family commitments meant we had to travel to Yorkshire at short notice. You were really accommodating with the dates so thank you for that.
But what made it for us was the attention to Christmas detail which really helped, from the trimmings, wine, crackers and choc’s all the way down to the snowman loo roll. Thank you so much.
We wished we could have stayed longer, but guaranteed, we will be back.
