Beautifully renovated 5/6 bedroom Victorian manse on the edge of the idyllic fishing village of Johnshaven. Spectacular coastal views to the Montrose basin. Perfect for exploring the East Coast, Deeside and the Angus Glens. Fishing on the North Esk, golf, cycling, sandy and rocky beaches all nearby. Linen, logs and a welcome hamper included. Cot/highchair etc available on request. The perfect base for families or groups wanting to explore all Aberdeenshire and Angus has to offer.
  Accommodation Sleeping 10-12, there is a kitchen/dining room equipped with hob/oven/microwave and dishwasher, a utility room with washing machine and drying area, a pretty drawing room complete with log burning stove and chandelier, a snug TV room for children (of all ages), and a downstairs bedroom/sitting room is home to an upright piano. A football table can be found in the cellar, and this family house is also well equipped with games, books and DVDs. The house has been stylishly renovated throughout, and simply yet comfortably furnished with a mixture of old and new. Views of the coast and the gardens can be appreciated from most rooms. On the first floor the accommodation comprises one triple, two double/twin, and one single room. There is also one bathroom and one ensuite shower room on the first floor. The downstairs bedroom has full sized twin beds and there is a downstairs shower room off the utility area.  Location - Johnshaven is an unspoilt, pretty little fishing village nestled on the border between Angus and Aberdeenshire.
- Just a short walk from the house you can find creel being landed on the traditional harbour-side, have a quiet drink in one of the two local pubs, buy provisions in the excellent village store, make use of the putting area, tennis courts and play area in the local park, or simply enjoy rockpooling and seal and dolphin spotting on the local beach.
- More extensive shopping can be found in the local market towns of Stonehaven and Montrose.
- For the more adventurous, the Whiskey Trail, Castle Trail, Angus Glens, Grampians and several nature reserves are all within striking distance.
