Spring Bank Cottage is a lovely house overlooking the village cricket pitch at the heart of Hayfield village. The gateway to the High Peak, Hayfield is a thriving community with a choice of shops, post office, pubs and restaurants, all within 150 yards of the house. The house is well located for walking (at the foot of Kinder Scout) as well as for touring with Chatsworth (stately home), Buxton (spa town), Castleton (famous for the Blue John Caves), Eyam (plague village) and Bakewell, all within a short drive.
Innovatively renovated there are south facing French windows on 3 levels - two open onto balconies, one onto a private lawned garden. All overlook the cricket ground, a focal point for the village, and beyond to the surrounding hills.
