Spearmill, a beautifully presented cottage which sits within the extensive grounds of the owners' property, nestles in a superb secluded position near the delightfully picturesque banks of the River North Esk. Within easy reach of the small village of Marykirk (with its local pub), walking, wildlife and picnics can be enjoyed all year round, and fishing, in season. The cottage is bordered by a burn and the original mill, Spear Mill, which dates back to 1738. The 'spear' which gave the mill its name, came from a nearby ancient battle site and can still be seen on top of the mill today.
Accommodation Spearmill offers bright, extremely comfortable and well equipped accommodation. The quality furnishings are a refreshing mix of traditional and contemporary styles, providing the cosy ambiance of an elegant 'home from home'. The cottage enjoys the benefits of an excellent central heating system and an open fire in the lounge for added atmosphere. The lounge offers soothing country views; a television, traditional games, as well as DVD & CD players. Equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. There is dining for 6 people and a separate utility room. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom can be a twin or a double. All linen and towels are provided along with many extras. An extensive range of quality baby equipment is available, at no extra charge, including cots, baby monitor and top of the range prams/buggies etc. Full details on request.
