Southlands Farm Cottages are 3 traditionally stone built luxury holiday cottages situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottages, each accommodating 2 or 4 people, and combining well for groups of 6 to 10 people, have open fires, en-suite bathrooms, bespoke kitchens and antique furniture beautifully put together to make a cosy and restful retreat.
Come here to unwind and do as much or as little as you like. There is plenty to do in this beautiful area including long walks in stunning nature reserves or on breathtaking beaches; relaxing in the local pub with its award winning chef; or browsing in the tempting shops of Corbridge or Hexham.
Accommodation The cottages can be rented individually, or using 2 or 3 of them together they make a great place to come for a week with up to 10 friends or family, any week of the year. The cottages were developed from an 18th century byre and granary using Charles's skills as an engineer and Dees creative background in fashion and textile design. Their work sympathetically retains many original features and the historic feel of the place combined with very comfortable and high spec modern building design. All three cottages form part of one traditional Northumbrian sandstone building, with a paved patio area outside including original feed troughs overflowing with cottage flowers. Each cottage has its own front door leading into its open plan ground floor space. The parking area is immediately beside the cottages.
