 Sonas is a modern detached house in the West Highland Village of Taynuilt, completed in 2006 with the objective of being a comfortable family home. Of paramount importance was to furnish with large comfortable beds, comfortable sofas, warm bathrooms, power showers, modern conveniences. - Some twelve miles east of Oban, Taynuilt is an ideal place to stay whether you are looking to tour the area on foot, by bicycle, car, bus or train.
- There is plenty to see and do for all ages. Try exploring the historic ironworks, venturing inside the hollow mountain, lazing on the beach, cruising the loch, playing a round of golf, visiting the smokehouse exhibition, walking the forest tracks or visiting a garden.
- The village nestles at the foot of Ben Cruachan whose mighty peaks dominate the skyline to the east. To the north and west, Loch Etive steals the scene while to the south, the ground rises towards woods and moorland. Sonas overlooks Ben Cruchan.
- Loch Etive is 1 mile on foot. Train station (mainline from Glasgow) is 5 minutes on foot.
 
Accommodation Sonas has 4 good size bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms. Furnishings are from Laura Ashley, Marks and Spencer. Beds are large, (6ft in master, 5ft in downstair guest room). Single beds in remaining guest rooms, are designed to make a comfortable 6ft bed in each room. Under floor heating in upstairs bathrooms. Sky TV/DVD throughout, Wide Screen LCD TV, internet radio, HiFi. PC and Wireless Internet. South facing deck with chairs and BBQ. Ample offroad parking.
