Smiddy Cottage at Dalnoid, is a recently renovated former smithy set amongst the dramatic scenery of Glenshee with stunning mountain and forest views towards Mount Blair. Ideally placed for walking, cycling, skiing and touring the surrounding area including Royal Deeside, Pitlochry, Dunkeld, the Angus Glens and Blairgowrie.

Smiddy Cottage sleeps 3 people and was recently renovated to a high standard.
Dalnoid is set in 6 acres of grounds and there are numerous walks, Munros and Corbetts including the Cateran Trail, nearby.

Accommodation

The cottage comprises a spacious double bedroom, a large single bedroom, family bathroom with bath and shower, and a living area with open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with a wood burning stove.
The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout to a high standard and has a host of modern facilities including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, TV, Sky freeview, DVD player, CD player and free Wifi. Cot and highchair available on request.
The cottage has stunning views over the local countryside and the garden attracts a wide variety of birds and wildlife, including red squirrels, stoats and deer.
The cottage has its own enclosed garden, with access to over 6 acres of grounds making it ideal for visitors with dogs or children.
Smiddy Cottage is heated by oil central heating, as well as a wood burning stove for those colder or more romantic evenings.
All fuel, logs, linen and towels are included in your holiday cost.
The cottage has a good selection of maps, books, games and toys, including sledges, and there is secure storage for bikes.
