Slippery Sam's dates from around 1450 and is a Grade II listed building. It is named after Samuel Jackson, a notorious smuggler who once lived here. - There is an 18th Century barn on the property which has been converted into two holiday cottages:
- Smuggler's Rest is a two-storey, four-bedroomed property and Moonrakers is a two bedroomed ground floor property which is also suitable for disabled use.
- The two properties can be connected to make one large unit.
Accommodation The properties are spacious and well equipped, each having its own garden area with tables, chairs, barbecues etc. There is ample off-road parking. All bedding, towels etc included in price as is electric, central heating, etc. Books, videos, games etc are also provided.
