Skylark Cottage is a period Cotswold stone property situated on the edge of the charming village of Blockley, a centre for silk-milling in the 19th century. Awarded 4 stars by the English Tourist Board. Perfect for walks, bird-watching, relaxation and a base to explore the beauty of the Cotswolds. Excellent walks from the cottage front door!

Accommodation

Recently restored, with oak beams and exposed stone, accommodation is on three floors (steep stairs). Every room in this charming cottage has a wonderful view.
The Cottage is entered at Ground Floor with a fully fitted kitchen, dining area and bathroom.
The living room, at garden level, has French doors to take advantage of the stunning panoramic countryside views and a delightful cottage garden. Enjoy a glass of wine on the patio in the summer sun or in front of the 'wood-burner' stove in the winter.
Double and twin bedrooms are situated on the upper floor, furnished with period pine complementing the original wooden doors throughout the property.

Blockley has 2 pubs, Post Office/Grocery and cafe. Within easy reach of Moreton-in-Marsh (rail to London), Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, The Slaughters, Cheltenham (Races & Festival), Longborough Festival Opera, Stratford-on-Avon and many National Trust properties including Hidcote Manor and Snowshill.
