Rona is uninhabited except for Bill Cowie our caretaker/ manager who lives in Rona Lodge overlooking Big Harbour (Acarseid Mhor) - one of the most beautiful anchorages in Scotland visited by yachts and a few hardy canoeists. This is where the local boat M V Stardust, skipper Dan Corrigal will normally land you and your party after a passage of 1 hour north north east  between Skye and Raasay and then on towards Rona with views all around.

The three cottages are 1.5 miles over a hill track from the pier at Big Harbour - a spectacular walk with the Cuillins at your back, Torridon to the North and Lewis and Harris far away across the Minch. Your luggage and supplies travel by 4-wheel drive bike and trailer. A chance to be at peace on an island of calm - a safe haven to lower your stress levels and an unforgettable holiday experience.
  • No cars, no pavements, no fast food outlets.

A unique opportunity to enjoy a remote, secluded holiday without roughing it!
