A traditional 18th Century, stone built, cosy, warm and well appointed cottage. Located in quiet 'Old Ambleside', on the slope above the 'new' Victorian village, Silver How is only 200 yards from the village centre.
Perfectly located and at the heart of the Lake District, there are beautiful walks to Scandale, Fairfield, Loughrigg Fell and Wansfell which can start and finish at the front door. No extra charges - Heating, lighting and bed linen are included. Guests are only required to bring their own towels. Accommodation Well equipped kitchen: Electric cooker, microwave, toaster, washing machine, fridge. Tastefully furnished living/dining room: Open fire (coal in shed). As an alternative an electric fire is available. TV, DVD player, video player, radio, telephone. Cellar: Table tennis table. Tumble drier and deepfreeze. Suitable for storage of outdoor equipment and walking gear. Separate door access to frontage. Bedrooms: Each has wardrobe, dressing table, reading lights and views towards Heron Pike.
