Shelton Old Rectory is set in a beautiful mature garden next to the 15th century St.Mary's Church where Queen Elizabeth I played as a child. Shelton is a tiny, peaceful community in one of the last real agricultural areas of East Anglia. In nearby villages you will find a selection of excellent pubs and restaurants whilst historic seaside towns and beaches are within easy reach.
Accommodation The main house dates back to the 18th century with vestiges of the 14th century original building. The farmhouse kitchen boasts an Aga as well as an electric cooker and microwave. There are nine comfortable bedrooms (double and twin-bedded). The sitting room has an open fire and television; the library can also be used as a quiet reading room or games room.
