Shell Cove House is in an idyllic setting on the South Devon Coast. 4 star apartments and cottages in the grounds of a handsome Georgian country house with breathtaking sea views and a very private, secluded beach. Nestling in 4 acres of outstanding natural beauty, within easy reach of Torbay, South Hams, Exeter and Dartmoor. Many of our guests return every year, some for over 40 holidays.

There are numerous facilities for all year round. They include:  

• The beach with sea bathing, beach combing, rock pooling and fishing.
• A splendid heated outdoor swimming pool overlooking the sea and a toddlers pool, both open May - October.
• Hard tennis court, croquet lawn and childrens play area.
• An indoor games room with games for all ages and a fully equipped laundry room.

From our bird hide gazebo you may spot dolphins off the beach or falcons on the cliff. From the house you can watch the sun and moon rise up over the sea.  

• There are superb views from the stylish and comfortable apartments.
• They are well equipped with central heating.
• Fitted kitchens with dishwashers, freezers, microwave ovens etc.
• Attractive lounges with TV, DVD player and video.
• Lovely bedrooms with linen and towels provided and bathrooms with bath and shower.
• The cottages are converted to the same high standard and are full of nautical character.
• The properties sleep from 2 - 6 persons with 1 - 3 bedrooms. They all have a patio or terrace.

We enjoy a mild climate and with spring arriving in February and Summer lingering on into October, many of our guests enjoy a winter break. We offer an oasis of peace and beauty during the quieter seasons when you can book a special short break.
