Hi Elaine,
We have safely arrived in Hong Kong on our way home to NZ, and this is the first chance I have had since leaving Portknockie to thank you for the wonderful accommodation that Shalder Cottage provided. It suited our requirements perfectly and was a wonderful base to discover thedelights of the Moray Coast. We were unanimous in deciding it was our favourite location for our (not long enough) stay in Scotland. WE shall certainly be recommending it in reviews both the net and amongst friends and family.

Dear Elaine, dear David,
we returned home safely last night and we`d like to thank you for a wonderful week at Shalder Cottage. The town and the surroundings are lovely and the house is just great: well equipped, comfortable, spacious and nicely furnished. We felt very much at home. It was by far (!) the best of the three cottages and one flat we`ve been to on our trip. Whenever we shall come to Scotland again, Shalder Cottage will be the first place to look for, and we'd stay longer then. It was difficult, to get the kids away from Portknockie.

Hi Elaine and David, holidays are over since several months but there's something left: A great memory about a marvelous week in your cottage. We all often bring those days, those views, this warm and inviting feeling to our minds which all is connected to this little village Portknockie and Shalder-Cottage.Well - thank you again and have a good time.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our time in Portnockie. Your cottage is lovely with a lovely homely feel about it and was perfect for our family.Even the weather was kind to us.The cottage's situation was ideal and the local pub and hotel were very friendly
