People return year after year for the sheer enjoyment of exploring the varied scenery, historic past and vibrant culture of these unique islands.
The cottage is located on the beautiful west coast of Harris close to the spectacular sands of Seilebost, Luskentyre, Horgabost and Nisabost. The island is perfect for outdoor activities such as hill-walking, bird-watching and fishing. Just 4 miles from the cottage you can play on the challenging 9-hole golf course.
The cottage at Seilebost sleeps 5 people: 1 double bedroom 1 single bedroom 1 room with bunk beds Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided free of charge. Storage heating as well as an open fireplace. Available for bookings all year. Bathroom (with bath, sorry no shower). Full range of facilities including Sky TV, fitted kitchen with washing machine/dryer, fridge, etc. From the kitchen window you can see the Isle of Taransay which was home to the BBC TV Castaways. 
The cottage is just 8 miles south of Tarbert, which is home to shops, the tourist information centre and the terminal for the vehicle ferry from the Isle of Skye. There is much to discover on Harris with its lovely beaches in the west contrasting with the rugged coastline of The Bays in the east. Be sure to visit St.Clement's Church at Rodel, built around 1500 with splendid carved tombs inside. For those with family roots in the islands, call in at the genealogy centre at Northton. The adjoining island of Lewis is a short drive from Tarbert and is a wonderful place to explore with its exciting cliffs, stretches of golden sand, ancient monuments and traditional black houses. Not to be missed are the magical standing stones at Calanais - second only to Stonehenge. Visit the main town of Stornoway for shops, art gallery and museum, plus special events such as music and maritime festivals. And why not take the ferry from Leverburgh on a day trip to North Uist? After the scenic crossing, visit the art gallery/museum in Lochmaddy, Barpa Langass prehistoric burial cairn and nearby stone circle of Pobull Fhinn, the church ruins of 13th century Teampull na Trionaid and the Balranald nature reserve.
