Sea Tangle is a stunning, spacious house situated in the pretty Fife fishing village of St Monans. In summer, sit outside on the decking or in the garden; in winter sit inside and enjoy the mesmerising seascape (where you may be lucky enough to glimpse a passing dolphin). - St Monans is one of the most attractive of the little fishing villages in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife. Explore the quaint village with its seafaring history. Only a short distance ( 7 miles) from the historic St Andrews it is a perfect venue from which to explore the delights of the East Neuk of Fife.
- There are lovely coastal walks, pleasant local golf courses to play, while from Elie (4m) you can hire cycles and boats or take boat trips to view the seabird colonies on the Island of May.
- If you potter along the coast for long enough, by way of the neighbouring villages of Anstruther and Crail, you will come to St Andrews with its golf courses, long sandy beaches and historic ruined castle and Abbey. Just outside St Andrews, there is Craigtoun Park with boating, trampolines, miniature railway, crazy golf etc.
Accommodation
Ground Floor The front door leads in to a tiled hallway with ample storage for golf clubs, cases etc. There is seating and a coatstand in this area. Master Bedroom: The master bedroom with king size double bed is to the right and has spacious built in wardrobes and an ensuite shower room. The floor is carpetted. Second Bedroom: The corridor continues on to the second double bedroom with twin beds, bedside tables and a spacious built in wardrobe. This floor is also carpeted. Main bathroom: Family bathroom with bath, shower and WC. Utility Room: Large utility area with washing machine, drier and ample space for wetsuits etc. Staircase: An oak, staircase with low lights leads up to a mezzanine level and a second hall with a door leading out to the garden and deck. This area is fitted with coat hooks and a shoe rack. Upstairs - Continue up the stairs to the large open plan kitchen, dining lounge.
- Kitchen: The tiled kitchen is fully fitted with all appliances, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher. There is a dining table and chairs in the middle of the kitchen ( seat 10).
- The luxurious open plan sitting area is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas, flat screen TV, DVD player, digital channels. There are CDs and DVDs provided for your convenience. The coastal views from the windows are stunning. There is solid oak flooring with rugs. One of the sofas is a sofa bed for the occasional guest.
- 3 steps up from the lounge leads to a further 1 bedroom apartment.
- Kitchen/ Lounge / Dining: The tiled kitchen is fully fitted with all appliances, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher. There is a dining table and chairs( seat 4).
- There is comfortable lounge seating for 4 with a sofabed for the occasional guest. The large window has amazing coastal views.
- A small corridor leads to a large shower room and toilet.
- Double Bedroom: A large double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and king size bed luxuriously appointed.
Outside The mezzanine door leads to the raised deck and garden area at the rear of the property. This can also be accessed by stairs at the rear. It is fully enclosed.
