House:  

• This superb 3 bed roomed bungalow overlooking Clonakilty Bay located directly on the water with a beautiful beach on its doorstep.
  The location of 'sea spray cottage' is uniquely breathtaking and unforgettable with spectacular uninterrupted views of the sea from the kitchen, sitting room and front bedrooms.

Gardens:  

• On acres of landscaped gardens and south facing wooden veranda accessed from the sitting room,
• and garden overlooking the ocean with garden furniture and BBQ.
  Private parking.

Facilities:  

• Kitchen is equipped with cooker, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and all the other small appliances that will make your stay very comfortable. Utility room with washing machine and clothes dryer.
• Main bedroom with TV, en-suite shower, toilet. 2 Bedrooms with 2 single beds each which can be put together to make 2 large doubles.
• 1 separate full bathroom.
• Open plan sitting/dining area with comfortable furniture for evenings around the large open fire. Satellite flat screen TV.
• Dual central heating system (oil and solid fuel).
• Spate water immersion heating.
• All bed linen and towels supplied.

Please Note:  

• Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.
• 200 euro breakage deposit is payable.
• Cleaning charge 65 Euro.
• Oil and electricity are an extra which are charged on a non-profit basis.

The Area:
Clonakilty is the ideal holiday destination and base from which to tour West Cork and Kerry, regions blessed with Irelands most spectacular scenery. Clonakilty is the 'Beach Centre of West Cork'. Numerous unspoilt sandy beaches, coves and harbors nearby must be explored. The natural beauty of the surrounding country side is enhanced even more by the abundance of birdlife to be discovered in Clonakilty's tidal bay and  marshes. Some 201 species have been recorded along 20 miles of local coastline.

Restaurants:
Clonakilty's restaurants cater for all tastes and budgets. These range from 'take-away' to 'pub grub' to elaborate gourmet dining. Local specialties and sea food are included in their menus.

Shopping:
There is a local shop 3.5 kms from the house which caters for all your needs. For more general shopping there is Clonakilty 5 kms away with a variety of shops.
