Seaside was new to the market in Autumn 2011. The house has been extended and completely re-built internally. The proprty is fitted out to the same standerd as our smaller cottage 'Seaside Beag' which can be viewed by using the link near the top of our main page.

Seaside is used for several months of the year by ourselves and family, comments are those from non-family holiday lets.

‘We had a great week despite the horrendous weather…..The house is simply beautiful, a superb location and furnished to the highest quality with everything you could need. Even on the worst weather days it is a pleasure to be here. There was much wildlife in evidence during our stay with daily visits, amongst others, from a pair of herons and a pair of curlews which seem to have adopted the area in front of the house as their feeding station of preference. We were also very fortunate to get a glimpse of a single otter slowly swimming by at high tide on Wednesday…..we very much enjoyed it and it is a property to treasure.’

‘…..we could not have wished for a nicer cottage than Seaside for our holiday. Everyone from 1 to 65 had a great time – kayaking, walking, swimming or just watching the waves from the (considerable) comfort of our living room. With the high tide just feet away it felt like being in a boat – but without the wind! There are lots of extra touches and you make great efforts to make visitors feel welcome and at home. Although I have let cottages for 35 years I certainly felt I could learn from you.’

'.... we had such a fantastic time. The house is stunning and the position - well - it was perfect. In fact I think it's the most perfect place we have ever stayed (and we've been all over Scotland, England and Wales). In fact we didn't want to leave (normally I'm quite happy to go home after a week but I was very down in the dumps leaving Seaside!!).....we definitely hope to come back'
