SOME VISITOR COMMENTS FROM GUEST BOOK
Oct 2014 Trudi & Paul. W.Yorks: What a discovery the Kingdom of Fife has been: beautiful beaches, picturesque villages, tranquil Harbours, fabulous food and wonderfully friendly folk. A must visit is Tentsmuir: Forrest, golden sands, white shells along the tideline, rolling dunes and wildlife. We took the bus and had a great day out in Edinburgh and also went to Dundee for a bit of City sightseeing. The Ardross Farm shop has great produce as does Balgove farm shop just through St Andrews: and almost forgot to say we fell in love with this historic town!! Also the Indian in Anstruther does a great take away. The cottage is lovely and it's location spectacular. We would certainly return, perhaps see Fife in a different season.
Sept 2014 A wonderful relaxing week in a beautiful cottage! We loved the location by the sea and the view (especially the lighthouse) Such a great cottage we are sad to be leaving soon......thanks for a great week and we hope to come back sometime.
August 2014 Betty & Barry Woodhouse. Co Durham: Enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage in an amazing location. \access to the shoreline a real bonus. We have met with efficient and friendly service in all the local shops and eateries. East Neuk is a place we will return to. Many thanks.
August 2014 John, Rachel, Harry & Moira. Lincolnshire: Two superb weeks in this wonderful holiday home.....we have had sunshine, cloud, rain, thunder& lightening and RAINBOWS! Anstruther is a beautiful place and we all enjoyed the views from 'the deck'. Much fun was had scrabbling on the rocks, catching crabs, visiting fisheries museum, St Andrews, Elie and the outstanding Glamis Castle. We will return! Thank you:)
July 2014 Ulrike & George, Cologne, Germany: Fife was the recommendation of a Scottish colleague, apparently not very well known in Germany - such a great place and in easy reach to Edinburgh airport! It is so peaceful and quiet and has given us the rest we needed! House is so nicely decorated it suits us perfectly. The village has stayed natural, not too much tourism and a lot to explore. We will definitely come back, maybe in a different season.
June 2014 Anne, Grahame, Violet & Edward. Buckinghamshire & Essex: Absolutely loved this quirky little cottage. Such a relaxing place. Great view and always something to watch. Superb base for exploring Fife. Fantastic food at The Waterfront-can highly recommend it! Great choice, great price & great service! saw seals at Pittenweem harbour - a treat!! There is so much more we need to see so a return visit will be on the cards. Thank you for providing such a clean, homely place for us to stay.
June 2014 Abi & Belinda: Gorgeous house, beautiful view. We have had a lovely week here and don't want to go home now. The Isle of May trip is definitely worth it if you are at all interested in birds, saw hundreds of puffins, razorbills, guillemots.......
June 2014 Sue & Kev, Staffs: What a beautiful, comfy place to spend a week - so easy to relax and unwind here. Were lucky enough to spot dolphins two mornings. Anstruther & Pittenweem lovely places to spend your time. Walk along Coastal Path to Crail also wonderful. Food at The Haven very good - friendly service too. Everyone has been so friendly & welcoming.
May 2014. Jim & Jenny, Aberdeenshire: Really enjoyed our stay again. Had a fabulous fortnight. Lovely cottage with everything you need. Many thanks.
May 2104. John & Susan Kirk, Hampshire: We've had a lovely time here. The weather has been great. The cottage is excellent, very comfortable, quiet and restful. We have been lucky enough to see dolphins. Also many eider ducks, diving gannets and shags. We also caught sight of a cruise liner one night! Thank you for providing such a lovely place to stay.
