The Village of Seahouses is well situated for those who enjoy the sea, seashore, clean beaches, history, bird watching and the countryside.
From our fishing harbour there are regular boat trips to the National Trust Bird Sanctuary on the Farne Islands, to Holy Island (during the summer) and both fishing and skin diving excursions can also be arranged.
The beaches, which stretch for seven miles north and at least three miles south of the village are considered among the top five for beach quality.
We have two holiday cottages in Seahouses, as follows:
QUARRY COTTAGE - sleeps 5 (photo above)
A three bedroomed bungalow on the southern edge of the village, 300 yards from the golf course, and a quarter of a mile from the beach. 3 Bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single. Bed linen supplied, also towels if requested, at a small charge. Completely double glazed, economy rate heating. Modern kitchen: Electric cooker, fridge etc, washing machine, tumble dryer, colour TV, video player, microwave, payphone, deep freeze. There is a secure garden and parking space. Electricity by £1 coin meter. Sorry no pets or smoking..
GREEN GATE - sleeps 4
A two bedroomed bungalow, a quarter of a mile from the harbour, three quarters of a mile from both north and south beaches. Short walk to shops etc. Completely double glazed. Two bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Colour TV, video player, payphone, usual kitchen with fridge and microwave, electric cooker, washing machine with tumble dryer, both economy rate electric heating and a coal fire. Secure well kept garden with off street parking in driveway. We supply all bed linen, also towels if requested at a small charge. Electricity by £1 coin meter. Sorry no pets or smoking.
