 Savernake is a wonderful 1920 house, ideally located, 50 yards from the beach. Famous for Lawrence of Arabia's 1932 visit, the detached property is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, has stunning unobstructed views of the sea, Thurlestone Rock and the surrounding countryside.
The house was updated and refurbished in 1999 retaining its own unique charm. There are wooden floors throughout with hand knotted Nepalese wool rugs in all the bedrooms and sitting room. From it's peaceful position, Savernake is still only within walking distance of nearby Thurlestone's amenities.
 The house stands in its own substantial gardens adjacent to the dunes, the beach and the South West coastal footpath, offering easy access to the seashore and to many miles of superb cliff walks. Dartmoor, Plymouth, Torquay and Dartmouth are within easy reach.
