A delightful barn conversion in the Exmoor foothills Sannacott self-catering cottage offers spectacular seclusion and very high quality holiday accommodation. The cottage is situated down a private drive in a peaceful location on the owners farm where National Hunt racehorses are bred and reared. Set amongst the rolling North Devon hills and the Exmoor National Park the cottage is beautifully positioned with stunning views. Sannacott Cottage is on the edge of Exmoor which has now been designated Europe's first International Dark Sky Reserve.

Accommodation

Double glazed and with underfloor C.H. Sannacott Cottage has spacious living accommodation with a large light kitchen with access to the patio area.
The kitchen is very well equipped with washer/dryer, washing-up machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, electric cooker and plenty of cupboard space.
The spacious sitting/dining room area has a television, DVD, fire, books, games and comfortable armchairs.
Two light airy bedrooms, one double and one twin, each have their own well equipped bathroom - one with large shower, basin and WC and the other with bath and shower, basin and WC.
The cottage has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard with lovely fabrics, antique furniture, comfortable beds and very large bath towels.
There is a parking area beside the cottage and the attractive private patio garden is a sun trap and ideal for alfresco dining and barbecues, and for just enjoying the birdsong and the views and the peace and quiet.

Location

With easy access to Exmoor and the North Devon coast, this is an ideal base from which to enjoy this beautiful and unspoilt country area.
Nearby North Molton has an excellent village shop and two pubs, and South Molton boasts two weekly markets, where delicous local produce is to be found, interesting shops, a supermarket, honey farm and several pubs, a good restaurant, tennis courts, swimming pool and climbing wall.
The area is well supplied with traditional attractive pubs in unspoilt villages of character - Withypool, Exford, Dulverton, Porlock, Dunster and more.
Exmoor and the North Devon coast are beautiful areas for walking and cycling, be it the coastal paths or the Tarka Trail.
Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Putsborough and Woolacombe - well known for beautiful sandy beaches and surfing. Riding is available in the area.
Famous gardens nearby including RHS Rosemoor, Marwood, Hartland Abbey, and the National Trust properties of Knightshayes and Killerton together with numerous smaller gardens and nurseries.
