Thinking of a holiday or short break in a lovely wee cottage, in a village where you feel you are in a time gone by?
Then think about coming to Sandend Cottage.
It could be just the place for you.
With a gorgeous sandy beach that has great surf and miles of wonderful walking along clifftops to other lovely beaches, bays, harbours and villages, there are secrets to be discovered and history to be uncovered along each stretch of the way.
Your holiday experience could include:
Bright, sunny, warm days (usually).
Walks on the beach, whatever the weather (definitely).
Enjoying evenings on the shore (or by the fire).
Visits to the nearby tearooms (forget the diet).
Walks along the cliffs, wind in your hair, sun on your back,(depending which way you are going!).
Looking out for seals, dolphins and whales (see the lesser-spotted-surfer instead).
Watching the sun setting, late or early ~ whatever the time of year
Catching the moon rising, relecting on the water...
Seeing about the Northern Lights sweep across the night skies...(well, we can all dream a bit, )...
... or just enjoying hearing the sea rolling in....and out...
...Whatever suits you, you could enjoy all this from
