 This is a Grade 'B' Listed fisherman's cottage situated in the popular Sandend conservation area. The old harbour (photo on right), large sandy beach and bracing cliff walks are all just a few minutes walk away.
Accommodation comprises: 2 first floor bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) reached by narrow staircase. Ground floor: Cosy sitting room with stove, CD/radio and TV/DVD. Dining room seating 4 - 6, also with sitting area. Bright galley kitchen fitted with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Back door vestibule with heater, washer/dryer and space for coats, shoes etc. Shower room with large walk-in shower, heated towel rail, toilet, washbasin and electric shaving point. Effective electric storage heaters provide background heating. All bed linen and towels are included in the price. Electricity is charged at the end of your stay. A bag of coal is provided for the stove. The cottage is Non Smoking. Located halfway between the historic fishing village of Portsoy and Cullen, Sandend is ideally situated for exploring the Moray Firth, famous for its dolphins and other wild and sea life. The Coastal Trail provides a lovely scenic drive and cycling is easy with Sustrans No.1 route going almost past the door! Both Inverness and Aberdeen are easily accessible by car and public transport.
