Pony trekking,sailing on Loch Ryan and the James Braid designed Stranraer golf course are within walking distance.
Rowanlea makes an ideal location for those planning a holiday in Scotland and Ireland being within 10 minutes drive of the short high speed ferry crossings of Cairnryan and Stranraer to Northern Ireland.
The cottage is the ideal location for a break in Galloway where days can be spent exploring numerous places of interest along the South West coast of Scotland steeped in history or indeed spent enjoying a warm log fire with a good book and perhaps a refreshment or two.
