Ennerdale is also an excellent base for rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, pony trekking and quad biking.
The nearest village Ennerdale Bridge has a general store and two pubs serving excellent food and real ales. The market towns of Cockermouth and Whitehaven are only a short distance away and the popular town of Keswick is half an hour's drive away. |
