 Roundhill Cottage, Grasmere, is peacefully situated a few mintues walk from the village centre. It is a lovely old traditional stone cottage built by the owner's great-grandfather about a hundred years ago.
There is a small front garden and a larger private enclosed garden at the rear which has lovely views of the fells. Garden furniture is provided and there is parking space for two cars.
Downstairs A cosy and comfortable sitting room with a Lakeland stone fireplace, woodburner stove, three-piece suite, coffee table, colour TV and DVD player. The hallway leads to the kitchen which has a traditional Westmorland slate floor, pine woodwork, dining table and chairs, cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is good understairs storage. Upstairs Two double bedrooms (one twin-bedded) accommodating four people. Bed linen provided. A spacious bathroom, with toilet, washbasin and bath with hand held shower. Facilities Heating is by a woodburning stove, night-store and electric heaters. The price includes all electricity and an initial supply of fuel for the fire. No pets or children under six years without prior arrangement. No smoking. Booking
