Rose Cottage has recently been refurbished and is pleasantly situated in a quiet location, just off Bainbridge village green. There is a garden and an outbuilding suitable for storing bikes. There is off road parking nearby. - Bainbridge is conveniently placed between Askrigg (of 'All Creatures Great and Small' fame), the bustling market town of Hawes and Aysgarth Falls.
- Bainbridge has its own village shop, butchers, garage, tearoom and the 15th Century Rose and Crown Hotel.
- The large village green has its own stocks, overlooked by the site of a Roman Fort.
- The River Bain, shortest river in England, flows through Bainbridge from Semerwater to the the Ure.
- Ideal base for walking, cycling or fishing.
 
Accommodation and Features Rose Cottage is owner maintained, with oil central heating, log burning stove and retains many of its original features. The living room has wooden beams, cast iron log burning stove and comfy sofas. The well equipped kitchen has a beamed ceiling and stone flagged floor. There is an electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and looks out onto the garden. The second bedroom sleeps two in double bed. Rose Cottage is not suitable for young children and we do not allow smoking indoors. All bed linen provided, towels provided for a small charge. One bag of logs will be provided free, extra bags can be purchased for a small fee. We are willing to do short breaks of three nights or more, by arrangement, please feel free to ask.
