The village of Fortuneswell is situated on the northern coast of the rugged, yet beautiful Isle of Portland on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, 4 miles from Weymouth. The village features an intriguing maze of streets that wind their way up a steep hill, offering stunning views of the Jurassic Coast and the rolling hills of Dorset beyond.

Portland Harbour, home to England's National Sailing Academy, boasts some of the best diving waters in Northern Europe, whilst the whole of this tiny island offers a haven for walkers, climbers, geologists and birdwatchers, together with a good choice of shops, pubs and eateries.
Chesil Beach connects the island to the main land, whilst Weymouth, with its golden sandy beaches and colourful harbour is just 4 miles away.

A delightful terraced cottage, on a quiet street in the village of Fortuneswell on the Isle of Portland, only 5 minutes walk from the famous Chesil Beach and part of Dorset's glorious Jurassic Coast.

This former bakery has been lovingly renovated and furnished to a high standard to provide well equipped accommodation, spacious living room with a separate dining room next to the kitchen, all rooms have high ceilings, stripped pine floors.

There is a delightful, decked courtyard, perfect for a relaxing evening drink or a BBQ.

The cottage sleeps up to 6 people.

Fortuneswell's amenities are within a short stroll, whilst Portland Harbour, set to be the venue for sailing events at the 2012 Olympics, offers excellent watersports, diving and climbing. Rugged Portland Bill panorama is renowned for birdwatching, while Weymouth's golden sands are 4 miles away. A great cottage for a varied, enjoyable holiday.
