Number 2 The Rookery is beautifully situated overlooking the whitewater of Stock Ghyll, an easy very short walk to the centre of Ambleside. The self catering cottage offers very cosy, clean, comfortable, well equipped, family friendly accommodation.

There is easy, private parking on site and the privacy and security of a cul-de-sac location.
The cottage sleeps up to 5 adults.
A well behaved dog with responsible owners is welcome on request.

The accommodation comprises:

Double bedroom with patio window and balcony over Stock Ghyll.
Twin bedded room with views over Stock Ghyll.
Single bedded room with travel cot.
Large dining kitchen.
Living room with patio window and balcony.
Family bathroom with bath and electric shower.

Facilities:

Colour TV, VHS video player, CD player.
Electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine with tumble dryer.
Electric heaters in each room and electric log effect fire in lounge.
Fold away high chair and removable child safety gates on stairs.

Outside:

Small patio area with seating, offering privacy and views of Stock Ghyll.
The property is situated in quiet cul-de-sac offering privacy, security, no passing traffic, and easy parking.
Private parking for 2 cars immediately beside the cottage.

Very easy, short walk into centre of Ambleside with many facilities and great all year round holiday charm.
From the door of The Rookery you can choose from an enormous variety of walks, ranging from a 5 minute stroll to the spectacular waterfalls of Stock Ghyll to a full day's hike around the high mountain ridges of The Fairfield Horseshoe.
