Formerly, as the name implies, an eighteenth century barn with open ends that held the farm's cart. Recently converted this space offers contemporary, stylish living accomodation in a private rural setting.

• Views west and northwards toward the Quantock Hills offer stunning sunsets.

With direct access to public footpaths the Carthouse can be found down a private lane surrounded by farmland. Based in the foothills of the Quantock Hills (designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty) which are three miles away and a similar distance from Steart Point (a wild bird reserve).
