Completely renovated in 2005 by new owners, these lodges sit among woodland on the outskirts of the unspoiled village of Killin with its famous Falls of Dochart waterfall. They sit at the foot of the Tarmachan Mountains looking over Loch Tay to the hills on the far side. There are splendid views down to the village of Killin in the valley below.
The area offers splendid opportunities for outdoor activities, especially walking, fishing and golf. The lodges sit just beyond Killin Golf Club and there are many courses within one hour's drive. The central location makes them an ideal touring base. The rugged majesty of Glencoe, and Oban are within one hour's drive, while the shops, museums and history of Glasgow and Edinburgh are less than 2 hours away.
Accommodation There is a range of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom lodges available, with plenty of parking space. Each is comfortable and well equipped with new carpets (2005) throughout, good lounge, dining and kitchen areas. They have modern bath or shower rooms with well fitted bedrooms and beds made up with new (2005) duvets and bedding. All have veranda and outdoor seating. There is an area for barbecues. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is plenty of space round the lodges with access onto the hills behind for walking. A great place to be active or simply to unwind.
Our two new log cabins (2006 and 2007) continue to be highly popular. Satellite TV is being installed in all lodges (April 2008).
