Spacious fully self contained half of listed 16th century timber framed farmhouse, situated in farmland between the villages of Godmersham and Crundale. The owner lives next door.
Ripple Farm is established as a working organic farm, now specialising in organic vegetables.
Accommodation The self catering unit has its own entrance and parking space. Kitchen, bathroom and living room lead off hallway, with staircase leading to two large timbered bedrooms, overlooking fields and North Downs. Each bedroom has a double and single bed, with timbered gallery spaces, which provide added sleeping space, up in the loft area (ideal for children able to cope with a step ladder). The house is tastefully furnished with attractive kitchen (electric cooker, fridge and microwave), and use of washing facilities in outside laundry room by arrangement. Living room has views across the valley towards Godmersham Park where Jane Austen once lived. Guests are welcome to use the garden. The swimming pool may be used by arrangement at most times, although children must always be supervised by an adult. Excellent walking, cycling and riding country, and within easy reach of Canterbury (9 miles), Ashford International Station (7 miles), and several beaches (approximately 30-45 minutes drive away). There are also many places of interest nearby.
