Restmoor Cottage is a traditional Teesdale Stone three bedroom cottage, situated in the delightful village of Middleton-in-Teesdale. The spacious, centrally heated and double glazed accommodation comprises:  
  • Comfortable lounge with easy chairs, large settee, television, video and CD player.
  • Large dining room and fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine etc.
  • On the first floor there is one double bedroom, one twin and one single bedroom.

  • Middleton has a good selection of shops including cafes, pubs, newsagent, small supermarket and post office.
  • The Pennine Way passes through the village and the surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty provides for numerous delightful walks. Most popular are the walks to the spectacular waterfalls of Low Force, High Force (England's largest) photo on right, and Couldron Snout.
  • Local attractions include the historic market towns of Barnard Castle and Richmond, the famous Bowes Museum and Raby Castle.
  • Hamsterley Forest offers mountain bike trails and hire, picnic areas, tearooms and nature trails through beautiful woodland.
  • The central location makes for easy day trips to the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, The North York Moors, Hadrians Wall and Durham with its iconic castle and cathedral.
