This recent barn conversion is situated in the Peak District National Park, on the edge of the Lyme Park Estate and is ideally located for access to spectacular walking country and numerous tourist attractions.
 
Accommodation The cottage has a high standard of insulation, central heating and full double glazing. The conversion retains many original features. There is a large well appointed kitchen/dining room. A spacious living room with a woodburning stove with a TV/video and a good collection of videos, books and games. There are two bedrooms, an upstairs double and a ground floor twin bedded room. There is a full family bathroom and a separate shower room/WC. Bedlinen, towels and electricity, wood and coal are all free of charge as are washing up liquid, toilet tissue etc. There is an attractive private garden, with garden furniture and barbecue. Parking space for two vehicles is available outside the cottage and a lockable garage is available for bicycle storage. Location - The area offers outdoor activities, close to the Gritstone Trail and within a short walk of Windgather Rocks.
- Within a twenty-minute drive are the attractive villages of Castleton, with its famous caves and Pevril Castle, Edale, (the start of the Pennine Way) with ready access to Kinderscout and Mam Tor and slightly further Eyam (the plague village).
- Cyclists are close to the Middlewood Way and slightly further away are the famous Tissington and High Peak Trails.
- A good centre for walking, climbing, cycling or sailing, with Buxton and its festival and year round high quality theatre only 20 minutes away.
- Local stately homes and National Trust Properties abound including: Lyme Park, Quarry Bank Mill, Dunham Massey, Tatton Park and Gawsworth Hall.
- The vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Manchester is just a 45 minute journey by car or train.
