 Welcome to Ravenbridge!
Ravenbridge Mill is an exquisite place of beauty and tranquillity. This 17th century house is set in 21 acres of orchard, woodlands and fields with its own lake, sauna, and two rivers running through the site for you to enjoy. Red squirrels play in the grounds which provide a rich playground for children and wildlife. River walking, boating, camp fires and swimming in Lake are among favourite activities at Ravenbridge. - Set in the Eden Valley, 13 miles east of Penrith there are plentiful places of local interest to visit along with local pubs and the famous organic Village Bakery in nearby Melmerby.
 - Horse riding, fishing and golf are all within easy reach.
- There are gentle local walks along the River Raven and into the fells.
- The North Lakes are within reach for mountain walking.
- We invite you to come and stay; make the house and ground your home for a week or two of blissful holiday, retreat, family reunion, conference or activity break.
- Ravenbridge Mill is an evolving ecological journey. The site was an old corn mill harnessing power from the river Raven and plans to return to water power are underway. Bio diversity and the conservation of flora and fauna are central to Ravenbridge.
- There are orchids and owls in the woodlands. Visitors are encouraged to record their sitings of rare fauna and flora in the log book along with their adventures of the day.
- On site activities incluce; woodland sauna, pool table, table tennis, trampoline and babmington.
The House - sleeps 10 plus cot
The house has ambience and character to inspire you with exposed beams, views from all rooms and a rustic feel whilst having all the usual facilities and appliances. - 5 bedrooms; 2 double, 2 twin, 1 bunks.
