 Ramblers Cottage is a traditional Lakeland cottage, occupying an elevated position in Bowness on Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Visit our website (click website button). The viewpoint of Biskey Howe is a few minutes walk from the cottage. Shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema and the pier, from where you can take a steamer to either Lakeside or Ambleside, are a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Ramblers Cottage has membership to the Langdale Country Club, Great Langdale, situated in the Langdale valley (approximately 30 minutes away) which provides free leisure facilities for our guests. The leisure facilities include a 20m swimming pool, steam room, jacuzzi and exercise studio. The Country Club offers spa and massage treatments (not included). The Club also offers guided fell walks and mountain biking if you wish to explore the Langdale Valley. Whatever the weather, whatever the season, there is something for everyone.
