 Queen Mary Cottage was originally a nineteenth century stables and coach house. It has been tastefully restored and upgraded to provide high quality accommodation for 4 to 6 in one of the most beautiful parts of the Island.
Accommodation consists of: Superb character kitchen and dining area. Spacious lounge with southerly outlook, wood burning stove. Two good sized double bedrooms, both fitted with washbasins. One room has a double bed, the second has two singles. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge. Bathroom and second loo. Utility area with washing machine and freezer. Delightful landscaped garden. Full central heating - all energy costs included in the rental. Cot and highchair available. No smokers or pets. The picturesque village of St Lawrence is located near the Southern tip of the Island. It nestles in the shelter of the Undercliff in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Five minutes walk from the cottage can take you down to the sea at Woody Bay or by steep footpath up to the downs.
The village post office and general store is 200 yards from the property (sells newspapers and most essentials). Nearest supermarket, pharmacy etc. two miles. There are several decent pubs and restaurants within a two to three mile radius.
