A choice of six listed period cottages in the picturesque and historic coastal town of Blakeney, North Norfolk. They are just a short walk from the quay, each having their own individual charm, sleeping from 2-12. - Blakeney is virtually unchanged since the 19th century and is scheduled as an area of outstanding Natural Beauty, popular with people with a wide range of interests. Blakeney Point is owned by the Naional Trust and a walk or boat ride to see the seals here is a must. Opportunities for sailing, fishing, swimming, bird watching and walking abound.
- There are a good variety of shops within walking distance, a fishmongers, a deli, a chandlers, clothes shops, a small supermarket, a florist, craft shops etc. There are regular antique fayres held in Blakeney.
- Children can hire small canoes to make their way along the safe and shallow estuary, the sandy shore is excellent for making sandcastles. The estuary is safe during the day, but the tide comes in rapidly at night.
- Just a short drive away is Holkham, The Stately Home and best beach in Norfolk, Blicking, Sandringham, Thursford Steam Engine Collection, The Toy Museum, The Shell Museum and The Shire Horse Centre as well as two steam engine lines. There is also a good local swimming pool and Sheringham and Cromer are nearby.
There are two good pubs serving food in Blakeney as well as two hotels and an excellent Bistro.
