I do try to keep my prices at a reasonable rate and I don't inflate the prices for school holidays etc.
It is truly a home from home. With footpath to the side, worth the walk, see the sea in the distance from the top (Alnmouth). Our family use it when we can so there is everything there that we need and therefore it is a very well equipped cottage, especially the kitchen. Sitting and dining rooms have LCD TV. Childrens toys.
See the puffins on the Farne Islands April/May until August/Early September. I just love them. (Check with the boat owners at Seahouses).
Harry Potter! One of the main locations was Alnwick Castle and the ITV "Distant Shores" was filmed in and around Craster a small fishing village near to Alnwick. Leave your car at Craster and walk along the coast to Embleton going past Dunstanbrough Castle on the way and get the bus back to Craster - Amazing especially if you have a "Bus Pass".
