 Prospect Cottage is a Grade 2 Listed, two bedroom traditional cottage, with wood burner. Originally built as the Curate's House, it is situated a short walk from all the amenities of the pretty Market Town of Wirksworth, whose lanes and alleyways are full of history. It is a gateway to the Peak District National Park. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and it's the many little extra touches which make our guests return. It is ideal for a romantic break for two or for up to four people as a base for walking holidays. - Conveniently located within easy walking distance of the centre of Wirksworth which has restaurants, pubs and shops to provide most of the every day necessities that you may require.
- Within easy driving distance are Haddon Hall (12 miles), Chatsworth (14 miles) and Bakewell home of the world famous Bakewell pudding (15 miles) together with Carsington Water and also Alton Towers.
- Prospect Cottage is situated in an elevated position on the eastern side of Wirksworth and has walks from the doorstep.
Accommodation  The sitting room, complete with woodburning stove, comfortable sofa and chair makes it a lovely cosy place in which to relax. Master bedroom with double bed and good quality mattress, duvet and pillows and fine cotton bed linen. Second bedroom with double bed. Both bedrooms are upstairs with the bathroom, which has a separate shower over the bath. Towels, linen, utilities and heating are all included in the price. Well-equipped and spacious farmhouse style kitchen/diner including dishwasher and microwave oven. 
Outside - Part-flagged mature traditional cottage garden with garden furniture.
