The Burns Experience Museum at Alloway (operated by the NTS)is now well established - by staying at Prestwick, you are ideally located to explore the many Burns locations in Ayrshire and further South.
The Senior Open Championship returns to Turnberry in 2012. Why not combine being a spectator and also play some of the wonderful West Coast challenges, including Old Prestwick (where the first Open golf championship was played in 1860), just over the road from Fairways Cottages.
