Plum Tree Cottage is situated 2 miles from Kelso at the end of Cliftonhill Farm with uninterupted views of beautiful, rolling border countryside.
One field away is the River Eden which is a tributary of the River Tweed. The Eden is fenced off with no stock permitted to graze therefore encouraging a great variety of wildlife like kingfishers, owls, families of otters, heron, fieldmice, deer and much more. Along the river is a hectare of wild flower meadow and sunflowers.
Plum Tree Cottage is a small and completely charming cottage for 2 people. The bedroom, with french windows and small balcony, is reached by spiral stairs. It has a king size Austrian Sleigh bed adorned with fine linens. Sit up in bed and admire the beautiful view across the Eden Valley - whatever the season.
Delightful beamed sitting room with a wood burning stove and more french windows which lead out to the south facing decked garden and a private grassy area with hammocks.
The galley kitchen has a small table. Bathroom with overbath shower and wc.
