Plattwood Farm Cottage is tucked away in a truly peaceful location on the western side of the Peak District within the National Trust Lyme Park, famous as Pemberley in the BBC's "Pride and Prejudice". Acres of spectacular moorland, roaming red deer, lakes and trails, stunning views and walks on your doorstep.
Plattwood is the perfect retreat for exploring the Peak District, the peaks and plains of Cheshire and the cosmopolitan city of Manchester, is within easy reach. Set on our dairy/sheep farm, children can feed the calves, watch the cows being milked and during the Summer months see cows calving.
Accommodation: Welcoming, roomy and comfortable with tasteful decor and high quality fittings throughout. Cosy, log fires for those chilly days. Highlights include an en-suite master bedroom with a king-size four poster bed, adding a touch of luxury to your stay. Home comforts include washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, TV, video and DVD.
