Located on the old jetty Pier Cottage is a holiday escape for those who wish to get away from it all and unwind to the slow rhythms of the sea and rural life. Sheltered from the ravages of the northerly winds by its own outcrop of coastal rock, the cottage nestles on a sunny grassy shore above the rocky beach. There is a sea peep from every room. A perfect Romantic Getaway.

  • Pier Cottage is the ideal venue for Canoeing and Sea Kayaking; Otter and Bird Watching and Coastal Walks.
  • Bealach and Torridon close enough for classic Scottish Mountaineering days.
  • For Rest and Contemplative escape take a window seat, and your patience may be rewarded with a glimpse of the otter feeding in the kelp; the sheep wandering outside and listen to the roar of deer on the hillside in the autumn.
  • The essentials are available in this little community. The local shop and Post Ofiice in Camustiel is a brisk mile walk away or a cycle which sells everything from a pint of milk to expresso coffee! Alternatively you are spoilt for choice if you want to taste locally landed seafood as there is the award winning "Applecross Inn" or the walled garden's "Potting Shed" both serve up delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.
